Long Gamma 2009 white wine is a blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Viognier and 15% Gewurztraminer. It is 100% stainless steel fermented, so none of that pesky oak, food flavor-killing stuff. Just bright, clean flavors of the fruit to enjoy with just about anything you are enjoying for dinner, or lunch, or that after-work- just-gotta-have something-fresh-and-reinvigorating moment. Long Gamma is the brainchild of the team at Reynoso Family Vineyards, all Chicago ex-pats. The Reynoso Family Vineyards label has been making outstanding varietally designated wines from the Alexander Valley for 9 years, but we wanted to be able to play with blends, while producing delicious wines at reasonable prices. We saw a terrifying, exciting opportunity with all of this world-class fruit.
