Winemaker Notes: This Red Wine blend is 75% Zinfandel, 20% Syrah, and 5% Petite Sirah. It was 100% fermented in stainless steel and pressed dry. The Syrah was aged in French Oak Barrels for 20 months, while the remainder of the blend was finished in stainless steel. The Wine displays aromas of bright red fruits and spice with a hint of creamy French oak. On the palate it is rich and juicy, with pretty dark berry flavors on a skeleton of structured Syrah, and that hint of Petite gives the wine even more depth and dark fruit notes. It has a touch of French oak that is seamlessly integrated with the fruit notes and has a beautiful line of acidity.
